A father puts his son on the ledge, fifteen feet from he ground. Kid’s about six. The father asks the kid to jump. The kid shakes his head, afraid to make the move. The father tells him not to worry, Daddy’s here and Daddy will catch you. The kid swallows hard, clenches his hands and makes the jump. The father moves out of the way and lets the kid fall to the ground, cuts, bruises, scrapes, what have you. The father bends over and points a finger in the face of his crying boy. And tells him, ‘Remember one thing. In this life, never trust anyone.

The staring had barely begun. Yet I could the anxiety of my opponent wanting it to end. Taught to survive in the wild, I had learnt the valuable lesson that patience is a virtue when hunting for prey or fighting for territory. But now, I knew that waiting is not an option when facing the weak. I spread my arms and took a step forward, getting ready to pounce. Facing me, the enemy stood its ground, a gesture of defiance, but its eyes betrayed him totally. I moved in and wrapped my arms around his arms as he made a fruitless attempt in fighting back. Finally knowing that he will never be my match, he scampered away with his head hung low, leaving a victorious smirk on my face. The battle was over the moment it started.

Narrated by a fighting spider a.k.a King of The East.

lol~

Saturday session was quite fun. Went to esplanade after a short trip to Malaysia to enquire some stuff about bike modifications. Then after dropped by at esply to see the battle, but didn’t get to see much as it was quite late already. But oh well, nth much interesting ba. After that went home to get my stuff and went to esply to break again. Quite nice session and hazrul went to catch fighting spiders for us. So we had fun playing with spiders too. After that I went to norbin house there to have supper and had a little training for air freezes. Reached home finally at 3am, super tired. Den came Sunday. Driving lessons was fun for once, ha. Mr. tan, my instructor started talking about some stuff and time passed quite fast. Went home after that and we decided to go to east coast park to catch some spiders, it was a nice experience for me definitely, a first to be exact. Guess I led a too sheltered life last time to enjoy games of the nature. But it was not a very successful catching session, but I learnt a little bit of the rarely seen trade. Today Mondays again. Hope later will have fun at breaking.

Anyway, lucky I decided to lie and cancel the date with her. Later learnt that she just got attached. Wonder how awkward it would have been if I went out with her not knowing that she was attached already. Heh. Never mind la. Kazumi’s still the best.
